RAYBAN
Ray-Ban is a brand that believes people should ignore trends and be themselves. The brand’s 75th anniversary was a perfect opportunity to celebrate the timelessness of this belief. The campaign told stories of individuals defining themselves in different time periods throughout Ray-Ban’s storied history: a bold soldier, dancers breaking free of convention and dresses that were shorter. Love in the midst of chaos, freedom and fun, an unexpected artist; moments in time where people chose to be themselves and never hide. Online we told true stories of real people who conveyed the spirit of our print executions for further engagement.
Souen participated in the development of this campaign with a big team of creatives under the guidance of Erik Vervroegen.
As art director, she was particularly involved in the creation of the website, which, for 2011, was highly innovative (FWA).
Almost 14 years later, this same website retains a charming vintage appeal.
