LA PAIMPOLETTE VOYAGE
Spring 2023 in Paimpol, Brittany. Souen continues her street-art practice by pasting handmade collages under the cover of night.
« La Paimpolette Voyage » is the sequel to the story started in « La Paimpolette vs Le Krakorn ». An adventure unfolds on the city’s walls, leading the female captain on a quest for a mysterious treasure. A fable whose moral encourages self-confidence and autonomy as the path to true freedom.
A children’s book based on the story has been self-published in December 2023.
Souen illustrated and handcrafted each collage with the help of her assistant, Justine Gallard. Together, they installed more than 50 collages across Brittany (Saint-Malo, Rennes, Paimpol, Douardenez…).
She wrote the book « La Paimpolette Voyage » and oversaw the entire publishing process with printers and distributors.
Souen also promoted the project on social media and in the press.
